He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry M. Books, Sr. and Thelma Books (Mace); his wife Sally Books (Hopkins); his siblings, Carl Books and Betty Bonsell; and his niece Kim.
He is survived by: his son Timothy Books; his friend Mary Barker; his granddaughter Nattasha; his sister-in-law June Books; and his nieces and nephews, Annette, Kathy, Keith and Barry. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Grove United Methodist (850 Pleasant Grove Rd, York Haven, PA 17370). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.
