It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn K. Funk (Etters, Pennsylvania), who passed away on March 29, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carolyn K. Funk to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Clair Funk, Jr.; her father Edgar Shaffer; and her brother Evan Shaffer (Ruth). She is survived by: her mother Catherine Shaffer (Adams); her children, Rev. Eric L. Funk (Tracy) of Honesdale, PA and Catherine L. Hagadorn (Michael) of Russell, PA; her grandchildren, Erin, Emily Hagadorn, Evan and Eli Funk; her niece Wanda Shaffer; and also Carolyn.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fishing Creek Salem United Methodist Church (402 Valley Rd, Etters, PA 17319). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Village Senior Living Community "Staff Development Fund" 150 Noble Lane Bethany, PA 18431.
