He was predeceased by: his parents, William Joseph and Martha Schumm (Hall); his siblings, Samual, Sandra and William Schumm; and his niece Christine Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Cook Schumm; his children, Rebecca Monaghan (Pat) and Justin Schumm (Anya); his grandchildren, Patrick, Liam Monaghan and Sophia Schumm; his sister Elizabeth Brown; his sister-in-law Judy Schumm (Sam); and his nieces and nephews, Don Brown (David), Chris Schumm (Lisa) and Kim Schumm.
