He is survived by: his children, Steven Tumpa (Lauri) and Valerie Newell (John); his grandsons, Tyler and Benjamin Newell; and his siblings, David Tumpa (Mandy) and Susan Fuchs (Paul). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
