He is survived by: his parents, Frank Malena (Joy) and Heidi Danielewicz Zack (Mark); his wife Sara Hemphill Malena; his son Kaden Petruso; his stepdaughter Aryanna Hemphill; his brothers, Eric Malena (Megan) and Nick Danielewicz (Kate); and his stepsiblings, Jonathan, Maeghan Weibel, Brienna, Kevin Puskaric and Rachel Weibel. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
