He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert P. O'Connell and Ann O'Connell Rice (Degner); and his siblings, Patricia O'Connell and David P. O'Connell. He is survived by: his wife Charlene M. Vanderhoof O'Connell (Thompson); his children, Brandon O'Connell (Sam) and Ashley Senger (Andy); his stepsons, Michael and Cody Vanderhoof; and his brothers, Robert A. O'Connell (Donna), Michael O'Connell (Robin), Stephen P. O'Connell and Richard L. O'Connell. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
