He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Nelson and Mary Nelson (Christie); his wife Kathleen D. Nelson; his daughters, Barbara Trigillo and Kimberly Nelson; and his brothers, Leonard, Terry and James Nelson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Robin Mysnyk (Jeff Allen) and Sherry King (Steven); his brother Robert T. Nelson; his grandchildren, Matthew, Trévaugn, Chrissy, Megan, Jack, Andrew, Aleasha and Nicole; and his pet Lucky. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
