He was predeceased by: his father Junior Whitmer; his brother Gregory Allen "Butch" Whitmer; and his pets, Sam, Caesar, Annie, Jacob, Hannah and Sebby.
He is survived by: his mother Helen Whitmer (Schultz); his wife Kathleen Whitmer (Bosley); his sister Wanda Sebring; his niece Cindy Wyman; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Skyler and Cejae Wyman; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kellan and Fallon Peoples; his siblings-in-law, Shirley Page (Charles) and William J. Bosley; his nephew-in-law Billy Bosley; his sister-in-law Candie Tillman; his niece Madeline K.; his nephew Ivan Schnell; and also, Logan Peoples (Meagan) and Brian Schnell (Melissa).
