She was predeceased by: her parents, Cesare Alo and Lena Alo (Amendola); her husband Thomas Paterniti; her daughter Deborah Paterniti; her brothers, Anthony Alo, Armand Alo (Clem), Rudy Alo (Marilyn) and Gido Alo; and her sister-in-law Angeline Paterniti.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Paterniti (Linda), Kimberly Blair (William), Brian Paterniti (Loretta) and Wendy Essigmann (Gary); her grandchildren, Lindsay, Brittany, Dominic (Jolessa), Antonette Paterniti (Justin) and Adam Essigmann; her great grandchild Vincenzo; her sister Dolores Fresch (Walter); and her siblings-in-law, Rose Alo, Anthony Pate (Daneene) and Richard "Dick" Paterniti (Marianne). She is also survived by several step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John the Baptist Church, 529 East 26th St., Erie, PA 16504, the Barber National Institute, 100 Barber Place, Erie, PA 16507 or a charity of your choice.
