He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth "Bette" Seib Doyle and John "Jack" Joseph Doyle; and his wife Lucia Pearson Doyle. He is survived by: his daughters, Katherine Eugenie Doyle of Lakewood, OH and Brita Elizabeth Doyle (Jennifer Flynn) of Erie, PA; and his brothers, Dennis Doyle (Deborah) and William Doyle (Floria) of Annapolis, MD. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Community Resources for Independent Living 3410 W. 12th.
