He is survived by: his children, Carmen Dawson (Ebony Britton) of Naples Fl and Tammy Merriweather (Augustus) of Dayton, OH; and his grandchildren, Carmen Dawson Jr., Elijah Dawson, Brooklyn Bethea, Augustus Merriweather IV (Melissa) and Ashley Merriweather.
