We are sad to announce that on July 22, 2023, at the age of 89, Steve J. Yurkewicz of Erie, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bronislaw "Benny" Yurkewicz and Mary Yurkewicz; his wife Marlene Wedzik Yurkewicz; and his grandsons, John Michael Yurkewicz and Adam Joseph Yurkewicz.
He is survived by: his sons, Stephen R. Yurkewicz, Sr. (Susan) of Erie, Gary E. Yurkewicz (Kimberly) of Erie, James T. Yurkewicz (Pattie) of Bradford and Michael A. Yurkewicz (Kathy) of Erie; his grandchildren, Isaac, Stephen Jr., Lily, Susie, Samuel, James, Evangeline, Gary, Jr. (Jill), Kayla (Shawn), Dr. Michael (Courtney), Kyle (Sami), Codey (Morgan), Dr. Matthew (Rachel), Makenzie (Cooper), Lindsey, Bailee, Zachary and Lauren; his great grandchildren, Greyson, Josiah, Hailey, Liam, London, Rowan, Taylor, Camdyn, Brody, Grayson, Hayden and Eben; and his great great grandchild Alayna. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
