Shirley Dovichow Obituary
We bid farewell to Shirley Dovichow of Erie, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 7, 2024 at the age of 98. Shirley touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Zimmer and Clara Zimmer (Kiehlmeier); her husband Louis R. Dovichow; her children, Shirley Ann Pakiela and Louis M. Dovichow; and her siblings, Robert, Bernard, Elmer, Richard, Henry, Arnold, Gerard, Earl, Winifred and Roberta Zimmer.
She is survived by: her son Steven Dovichow (Janice); her daughter-in-law Linda Dovichow; her grandchildren, Lisa Jones (Aaron), Michael Dovichow (Sheila), Kristy Dovichow, Randy Dovichow (Darlene), Katie Fulcher (Matt) and Stevie Dovichow; her cousin Sister Millicent; and her great grandchild Taylor. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Shirley's name to either Blessed Sacrament Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
