He was predeceased by: his brothers, Arthur Ward, Ezekiel Ward and Ernest F. Ward; and his nephew Jamie Nicholson. He is survived by: his siblings, Reverend Linda A. Reed, Reverend Timothy G. Ward, Reverend Martha M. Woodard, Margaret Mcleod (Dave Mcleod), Ronald E. Ward, Craig T. Ward and Jacqueline D. Jordan; his nieces and nephews, Shanta, Myra, Ruby, Zynera, Olivia, Edison Nicholson, Lavern Nicholson, Christopher Roberts, Rayon Ward, Dale Vactor, Offel Jordan, Carnell Carroll, Hilton Ward, Milton Ward, Tyshawn Ward and Rickey Woodard; and his close friends, Leander Barnes and Dale Vactor.
