He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Barbara Ward (Brandt) of Nellysford and Samuel R. Ward, Sr.; his wife Cheryl Ward (Mowrer); his children, Alec Ward and Audrey Ward of Erie; his sister Katie Michel (Jeff) of Warrenton; his parent-in-law Ron; and his sister-in-law Cindy Brown.
