He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell S. Polizzi and Annette M. Polizzi. He is survived by: his significant other Nancy S. Makay; his brother Anthony V. Polizzi (Donna); his mother-in-law Susanne Makay; and his sister-in-law Shelly Bender (Kelly). He is also survived by one aunt, six nieces, seven nephews.
He was the first to advocate for therapists to be part of the treatment program during the initial COVID pandemic, despite being frightened and on his own and having parents in a nursing home and his fiancée at home with ongoing Multiple Sclerosis.
