He was predeceased by: his brother Terry James; and his grandson Hilkiah Gray McClendon. He is survived by: his parents, Roosevelt Stevenson and Catherine Hunter Leggett; his son Terry McClendon; his grandchildren, Kamaria, Zion, Israel, Genesis, Olive, Judah, Margot and Amelia; and his sisters, Lorie Saunders, Sabrina Temple and Elbonee McLaurin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
