Roberta Kalata Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Roberta Kalata of Erie, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Roberta left this world on November 25, 2024 at the age of 65, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, James R. "Bob" Crawford and Carol Crawford; her grandparents, Paul and Florence Hobart; her in-laws, Dr. John C. and Mercedes Kalata; her brother-in-law Donald Depinet; and her pet Max.

She is survived by: her husband John J; her children, Christopher, Andrew and Jennifer; her grandson John; her sisters, Judith Depinet and Sherri Bonnell (Jon); her siblings-in-law, David Kalata, Michael Kalata, Jennifer, Kathryn Martin and Amy Paszkowski; and her close friend Connee Lichtinger. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (4216 Sterrettania Rd, Erie, PA 16506). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Peace R. C. Church (2401 W 38th St, Erie, PA 16506).
