It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Stumpo of Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 2, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert Stumpo to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony J. Stumpo and Constance V. Stumpo (Hart); his sister MaryKay Guinn (Joseph); his nephews, Nicholas Helmer and Timothy Denning; and his great-nephews, Joseph and Jeffrey Rodgers.

He is survived by: his children, Robert A. Stumpo Jr., Anthony N. Stumpo and Elaina Murphy (Jeff); his granddaughters, Brianna Newton (Charlie), Kendra Crane (Zack), Malyna Murphy and Kaylee Murphy; his great grandchild Amelia Murphy; and his siblings, Enrico Stumpo, Frank Stumpo, Laura McIntyre (Craig), Rosanne Bliss (James) and Christina Hipple (James Gelletta). He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, and cousin.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kloecker Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (2502 Sassafras St, Erie, PA 16502). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (147 W 24th St, Erie, PA 16502).

In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to St. Jude Childrens Hospital or the Barber National Institute.

“To Bob's family, I am so sorry for your loss. Bob was truly one of a kind, and I'm grateful to have met him. He helped my mom (Elsie) at her home whenever he was needed. He was one of the kindest, nicest, big-hearted people I know. He'd bring Tony with him to work at her house; for my elderly mom, that was the highlight of her day. I pray for peace for all of you during this difficult time.”
