He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan W. Schnars and Doris Schnars (Robertson); and his siblings, Karen Schnars and Brian Schnars. He is survived by: his fiancée Diane Rutkowski; his brothers, Ivan J., Mark, Timothy and Matthew Schnars; and his stepchildren, Linda Ganza, Rose Surma and Sean Rutkowski. He is also survived by many grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
