He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert R. Alston and Lessie W. Alston (Dark); and his siblings, Isaac Alston (Dion), Rufus Richardson (Ruby), Carl Alston, Benjamin Alston and Nella Ree Henderson.
He is survived by: his children, Dana Alston of Houston, TX, Tonya Jones (Sidney) of Auburn Hills, MI and Dorian Josey (Heather) of Aliquippa, PA; his grandchildren, Yasmine, Janea, Caleb, Zoe and Raina; and his siblings, James Alston, Addie Moon and Ora Alston. He is also survived by his extended family and caring friends.
