He was predeceased by: his parents, George Mielnik and Josephine Mielnik (Bal); and his siblings, Genevieve Gorski, Thaddeus Mielnik, Regina Loncki, Albert Mielnik and Theresa "Dolly" Berdis.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Joan Mielnik (Pawlak); his children, Rick Mielnik (Paula) of Erie, Albert Mielnik of Tennessee and Kathleen Miller (Craig) of Ohio; his sister Dorothy Mielnik of Erie; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Nicholas, Katy, Justin, Ricky, Zachary, Aaron and Nathan; his great grandchildren, Hailey, Hannah, Skylar, Enna and Nora; and his sisters-in-law, Irene Mielnik and Mildred Krainski (Tony).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to either, the Gertrude Barber Center 136 East Avenue, Erie, Pa 16507 or St. Stanislaus Church.
