It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Birk of Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 8, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Birk to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Birk and Sophia Birk (Schaaf); and his brothers-in-law, John G Hatheway, Clarence, Thomas Colvin and Ronald Healey.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Toby" Birk (Colvin); his daughters, Julianne Gresh (Tom), Jeanne Burns (Andy), Kathleen Leone, Michelle Nunn and JoAnn Brown; and his siblings, Kathleen Healey and William Birk (Gloria). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
