He was predeceased by: his parents, Rueben Allen and Dorothy Daughtery Allen; his wife Marjorie Allen; his brother John Allen; and his grandson Albert Tate (Dink).
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Parr (John), Monica Blanks and Lisa Tate-Boyd; his grandchildren, Brent Taylor, Will Blanks and Christina Blanks; and his sister Ruth Ranson. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
