He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Niedzwiecki and Josephine Niedzwiecki (Zmudzinski); and his siblings, Robert Niedzwiecki, Clara Daniszewski and Rita Marshall.

He is survived by: his wife Catherine Niedzwiecki (Szymanski); his daughters, Mary Scutella (Pat) and Christine Ferrare (Mark); and his grandchildren, Cecelia Ferrare (Eddie Young), Patrick Scutella (Shauna) and Dominic Ferrare. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
