She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Carey and Genevieve Burns Carey; and her cousin Rose Kelley. She is survived by: her husband Jim Markowitz; her children, Mary Pat Werley (Shawn) of West Chester, PA and James Markowitz (Erika) of Erie, PA; and her grandchildren, Evan, Carey Werley, Natalie and Derek Markowitz.
