He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Parenti and Cora Forfia Parenti. He is survived by: his wife Joan Rita Polancy Parenti of Erie; his children, Denise Paczewitz (Dean) of Michigan and Raymond A. Parenti of Maryland; his siblings, James Parenti (Diane) of Erie and Corinne Parenti of Erie; and his grandchildren, Daniel and Elizabeth Paczewitz.
