She was predeceased by: her great-grandparent Olga Marie Filippi (Simonelli); her parents, James Simonelli and Rosa Simonelli (Iavarone); her husband Leno Joseph Filippi (Phil); her brothers, Fred and Frank Simonelli; and her in-laws, Teresa Simonelli, Fred Sitzler, Carney Metzgar, Vincent, Lena Filippi, Lelio, Angie Filippi, Tony and Louise Bertone.
She is survived by: her siblings, Lucille Sitzler, Gloria Metzgar and James Simonelli (Kathy); her sister-in-law Tess Simonelli; her nieces and nephews, Pam Meighan (John), Christine Filippi (Carolyn Byrne), Leno Filippi (Jennifer), Darryl Filippi (Paula) and Matthew Filippi (Roberta); her grandchildren, Olivia Filippi, Thomas Meighan (Anna), Phillip Meighan (Eva), Sofia Filippi, Pamela Marie Meighan, Sgt. Andre Filippi, Siena Filippi, Alex Filippi, Luciano Filippi, Maleah Filippi and Jovani Filippi; and her great grandchildren, Marcella, Alden Meighan, Aurora, Emilia Filippi, Rachel, Ethan and Kyle Byrne. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (4216 Sterrettania Rd, Erie, PA 16506). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. George Roman Catholic Church (5145 Peach St, Erie, PA 16509).
