He is survived by: his children, Michael DeFoy (Megan), Brandon DeFoy (Stephanie) and Abrianna DeFoy; his grandchildren, Brantley DeFoy, Mabel DeFoy, Milana DeFoy and Maisey DeFoy; his daughter Michelle Lichtenberger; his close friend Tina Porfilio Brutto; and his cousin Tricia DiBello. He is also survived by his best friend, along with his mother, siblings, and many nieces and nephews.

The family would also like to extend thanks to Joseph Brutto for trying to donate his kidney to save his life.
