He was predeceased by: his father Wayne Johnson, Sr.; and his sister-in-law Melanie Johnson. He is survived by: his mother Jacklyn Johnson of Erie; his brothers, Wayne Johnson, Jr. (Maria) of Erie, Jeffrey Johnson (Shelley) of Cleveland and Gregory Johnson (Nuray) of Fort Mill, SC; and his nieces and nephews, Alexa, Zachary, Madeline, Ethan, Caleb, Ciara, Arda, Arche Oasis and L'Arche.
