Maryann Balog Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maryann Balog of Erie, Pennsylvania, born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 2, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Krawchak and Mary Krawchak (Vidumsky); and her son Andrew Mark Balog. She is survived by: her husband Andrew B. Balog; her daughters, Christine "Tina" A. Alfone (John) of Stratford, CT and Melanie Forsberg (Ted) of Erie; her grandchildren, Carissa Alfone, Nicole Yearsley (Joseph), Allison Pennell (Heath), Elizabeth Cassidy (Ben) and Holly Forsberg (Conor Shaffer); and her great grandchildren, Joey, Will, Layla, Jamie, Peter, Rory and Andy.
