She was predeceased by: her parents, Buffus Speed and Viola Payton Speed; her daughter Sabrina Fatima Barry; and her grandson Kenneth Christian Twyne. She is survived by: her siblings, Thelma Mclaurin, Velma Green, Rosemarie Lofton, Pearly Edwards, Emma Jean Ridgeway, Mary Lee Blanks, Otis, Paul and Lavell Speed; her children, Raby Barry, Boubacar and Thierno Barry; her sister Barbara Andros (Willie); her grandchildren, Kyle, Oumar, Thierno, Nouria, Isabella, Maryauna, Isaiah, Kateri, Kamaya, Kaleah, Khader, Destiny, Maggie and Melisa Barry; her great grandchild Oumar Barry Jr.; and her close friends, Kim Amado, Mary Richardson, Mae Page, Vivian Tate, Marie Roberts and Dr. Annette Franklin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, others relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Shiloh Baptist Church (901 E 5th St, Erie, PA 16507). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
