She was predeceased by: her parents, William Schmitt and Helen Ruhl Schmitt; her husband Richard Charles Cornwell; her daughter Lori Ann Cornwell Ginnery; her siblings, Robert Schmitt and Helen Wright; and her grandsons, Steven Cornwell and Philip Tryon.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Lynn Miller, Janet Tryon (Dennis), Lisa Cornwell, John (Fran), Rick (Linda), Jim (Jenn), Mike (Linda), Steve (Sherall) of Wilmer Alabama and Tom (Leah) of Yulee; and her sister Florence Heibel. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family through the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Road, Erie, 16504 in memory of Mary.
