She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Clark and Cora Clark of Lawrence Park; her husband Ralph N. Atkin; her daughters, Jean Gool of Erie and Janet Rapp of Erie; and her grandchildren, Justin F. Wolfe (Pam Ansman-Wolfe) of Renton, WA, Jeremy J. Gool of Erie, PA, Jacob A. Gool (Joanna Gool) of West Chester, PA, Jason P. Atkin (Cassandra Atkin) of Waterford, PA and Elizabeth J. Atkin (Adam C. Clark) of Pittsburgh, PA..
She is survived by: her sons, John C. Atkin (Bruce Parkhurst) of Tionesta, PA, James K. Atkin (Sharon Atkin) of Hernando, FL and Jeffrey R. Atkin (Gina Atkin) of Inverness, FL.; and her great grandchildren, MacKenzie N. Sharpless (Sam Sharpless), Maximilian R. Wolfe, Spencer P. Wolfe, Jaden J. Atkin, Jera M. Atkin, Penelope V. Gool and Coraline G. Gool. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kloecker-Bailey Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (4396 Iroquois Ave, Erie, PA 16511). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
An avid reader, Margaret asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be directed to the Erie County Library - Lawrence Park Branch, 4212 Iroquois Ave, Erie PA 16511. Alternately, donations are welcomed to the Janet Rapp Scholarship Fund, Iroquois School District Foundation, 800 Tyndall Ave., Erie PA 16511.
