She was predeceased by: her parents, Dora Starks and Lee Andrew Sumlin; her husband Bogan Lomax; her son Wright Whigham; and her siblings, Louise Mulligan, Arthur Sumlin, Lee Andrew Jr. Sumlin, Jessie Sumlin and Walter Sumlin.
She is survived by: her niece Patricia Sumlin; her sister Dorothy Chapman; her nieces and nephews, Alicia Floyd, Jacque Sumlin, Vickie Sumlin, Louise Mulligan, Ricky Sumlin, Arthur Sumlin, Tyrone Sumlin, Dwayne Mulligan and Reginald Sumlin; her great-nieces, Kennisha Collins and Lia Watson; and her friend Regina Edwards.
