It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis Godel Jr. of Erie, Pennsylvania, born in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 9, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis P. Sr. Godel and Antionette Betz Godel; and his siblings, Kathy Hessert (Larry) and Phil Godel. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Arnold Godel; his children, Clarissa DeRooy (Jason) and Chris Godel (Stacey); his grandchildren, Christopher Godel (Mandie), Madison Renshaw, Julia DeRooy and Zachary Godel; his great grandchild Rohan Godel; and his siblings, Roseann Godel of Buffalo, NY., Mary Lou Ridenour of Coraopolis, PA., Susan Wozniak (John) of Coraopolis, PA., Jim Godel of Coraopolis, PA. and Tom Godel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
