He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois A. McBryde (Vance) and Lawrence Rush; and his brother Chuck Rush. He is survived by: his wife Emily McBryde; his children, Michael McBryde (Celeste) and Heather McBryde; his stepchildren, John (Jill), Kimberly and Christopher; his grandchildren, Beckham, Addison, Maeve and Leona; and his sisters, Anne Gerner and Kathy Addleman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services West Ridge (3801 W 26th St, Erie, PA 16506). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to Tom Ridge Environmental Center, 301 Peninsula Drive Suite 1, Erie, PA 16505.
