He was predeceased by: his parents, John Carlson of Carlson's Industrial Grinding and Caroline Carlson (Nicholas); his brother Bob Carlson; and his brother-in-law Jack Kirts. He is survived by: his wife Annette Carlson; his sons, Paul Carlson (Kim), Tim Carlson (Jennifer), Scott Carlson (Hope) and Terry Carlson (Stefanie); his grandchildren, Kai, Logan, Mia, Kindra and Mikaela; his sister Donna Kirts; and his brother-in-law Ray Crolli (Mary). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
