He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry J. Kanyar and Marjorie McLean Kanyar; his grandparents, William, Dorothy McLean, Henry Kanyar Sr. and Anna Kanyar; his mother-in-law Geraldine Finnegan; and his brothers, Keith W. Kanyar and Ronald L. Kanyar.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Twichel of Erie; his children, Melissa Twichel of Erie, Christopher Twichel (Jen) and Michael Twichel (Rhonie) of Girard; his father-in-law Richard Finnegan of Girard; his siblings, Richard A. Kanyar (Bonnie) of Canton, CT, Kathleen D. Barone (Daniel) of Harleysville, PA and Isabella R. McCarthy of Erie; and his grandchildren, Carter, Ryan, Briana, Kaitlyn, Ashley, Charlee and Nate. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
