She was predeceased by: her parents, Abe Charles (Chuck) and Tema Schutzman Adler; her sister Edna Jean Adler; her husband Jerome Shapiro; and her brother Simon Adler.
She is survived by: her children, Betsy Greenawalt (Duane) of Bennington, VT, David Shapiro (Michele) of Pennington, NJ and Michael Shapiro of Little Rock, AR.; her sister Marilyn Olgin (Jerry) of Phoenix; and her grandchildren, Monica, Tyler, Nicole, Deven, Blake, Paige and Melissa.
