She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ellis and Johnnie T. Ellis (Holsten); her husband McKinley Johnson; her children, Jimmie Johnson, Sr. and Marvin Arrington, II; her siblings, Neal, Pete, Robert Ellis, Martha Barnes and Pearl Ellis Hobson; and her granddaughter LaChontelle Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Vanessa Johnson, Shannon Johnson, McKinley Johnson (Jamie) and Omar Arrington; and her siblings, Margaree Shaw of Erie and William Ellis (Ruby) of Erie. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
