She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Dandridge and Albert J. Richards; and her son Kamal Z Blackwell. She is survived by: her children, Claudine Hancock, Dousjoura Griffin, Albert Richards, Alfonso Davis, Keith Blackwell, Daniel Richards and Samuel Richards; and her brother John Wood (Melia). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
