Josephine Elaine Russell Olson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 20, 2024, at the age of 88, Josephine Elaine Russell Olson of Erie, Pennsylvania, born in McKinney, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Russell and Billie Barrett Russell; and her brothers, Harry Russell and Clarence "Randy" Russell. She is survived by: her husband Arthur Olson of Erie, PA; her sons, Russell Olson (Alexandra) of Rockwall and George Olson (Sandra) of Sherman; her brother George Ray Russell; her grandchildren, Brittany Pickens (Wes), Karlie Stewart (Corey) and William Olson (Carly); and her great grandchildren, Kaliana, Alyssa, Wyatt Pickens and Jack Henry Stewart. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dannel Funeral Home (302 S Walnut St, Sherman, TX 75090). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (401 N Elm St, Sherman, TX 75090).
