We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2024, at the age of 91, Jose Velez of Erie, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his daughter Nora Kutterna; and his siblings, Oscar Velez, Jenny Mendez and Octavio Velez. He is survived by: his wife Natividad "Tita" Velez (Rivera); his children, Joseph Velez (Marie), Luis Velez (Carol), Marty Ayala (Jose), Richard Velez (Peggy), Rose Gomez (Tony) and Raquel Velez; his son-in-law Lucky Kutterna; and his siblings, Chago, Luis, William, Meco Velez and Juanita Centeno (Jose). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.
