He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Diaz and Dolores Godinez; and his pet Junior. He is survived by: his wife Rebeca Flores Diaz; his children, Mayra Diaz Flores (Emanuel Beason) and Ernesto Diaz (Rachelle Bellotti); his grandchildren, Marcello, Sophia, D'Angelo, Phoenix, Enzo, Emir and Emillia; and his sister Irma Gonzalez. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
