He is survived by: his cousin Hiram Plaza of New York; his former wife Beverly; his children, Stephanie Plaza-Nyikuach (John), Michael Plaza of Erie, Joseph Plaza "Jose" (Becky), Aurora Plaza of Pittsburgh, Jeffery Plaza of Erie and Nilda Plaza-Robinson (JD) of Texas; his cousin Socorro Ferrer (Strong) of New York; his nieces, Vicky Ana Reyes (Angel), Nilda Reyes of Texas and Brenda Bermudez-Droz; his nephew Manuel Bermudez of Puerto Rico; his grandchildren, Michael Jr., Shaquana, Anthony, Vera, Andy, Brandon, Jeffery Jr., Cristina, Isis, Horus, Jose, Marissa, Raina and Okoye (Jessica); and his in-laws, Adam "Sonny" and Diane Rowicki. He is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren, dearest friends.
