He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Wilfred and Ruth Margaret Fischer (Welch); and his brothers, James P. Fischer and Joseph P. Fischer. He is survived by: his sister Carol F. Kuna; his nieces and nephews, Anne Shiel (Gary), Ellen Fischer (Christopher Louis), Robert Kuna (Jeanine Green), Joseph Kuna (Patti) and Ben Fischer (Nicki); and his great-niece Jennifer Amendola (Brent).
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John the Baptist Church (509 E 26th St, Erie, PA 16504).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Michael J. Murphy Priest Retirement Home 429 East Grandview Blvd., Erie, PA 16504 or to a local parish.
