He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Anderson and Charlotte Boehm Anderson Rosenzweig; his siblings, Joel Todd Anderson and Judith Leslie Covatto; and his stepfather Edwin Rosenzweig.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Robison Anderson; his children, John Eric Anderson (Mary) of Plainfield, IL, Leslie Raper (Bill) of Hendersonville, NC and Bryn Claypoole (Ashley) of Girard; his grandchildren, Ian (Hannah), Megan (Chris), Jacob (Jess), Zoe (William), Cameron (Erin), Madison (Danny), Aubrey, Lyric, Travis and Brian; his sister Janet Knepper (Donald) of Erie; and his siblings-in-law, Merch Covatto of Florida, Howard Robison of Franklin, PA and Patricia Anderson of Colorado. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
