With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerald L. Heeter of Erie, Pennsylvania, born in Warren, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 30, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Orren Heeter and Maxine Burton Heeter; his son Scott Heeter; and his sister Sherry Eisenhauer. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Welty Heeter; his children, Daniel Heeter (Penny) of Erie and Amy Alexander of Erie; his grandchildren, Emily Campbell (Mark), Molly Dickson (Matt), Chloe Heeter and Brady Heeter; his great grandchildren, Gia, Aubree, Ava, Camryn, Indie, Waylon and Scarlet; and his brother Robert Heeter (Diane) of Erie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
