He was predeceased by: his parents, James Spanogle and Ann Spanogle (Rusnak). He is survived by: his wife Sylvia (Luebbert); his son Jesse Spanogle (Jessica); his grandchildren, Sophia, Isabella, Madeline and Francis; and his sisters, Belle Murray (Jim) and Gail Bufalino (Russ). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and several lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kloecker Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (2502 Sassafras St, Erie, PA 16502). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Church (130 E 4th St, Erie, PA 16507).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mercyhurst University Campus Ministry to help his son carry on Jimmy's legacy by sharing faith with the next generation.
